‘I’ve seen zero evidence of any nation on Earth other than Mexico even remotely having the slightest clue what Mexican food is about or even come close to reproducing it. It is perhaps the most misunderstood country and cuisine on Earth.’
– Anthony Bourdain

‘I have been dreaming of visiting Mexico City for years and now – I have met work colleagues and culinary students from there who speak so highly of its cuisine. Now we get to take a seriously delicious look at what real Mexican cuisine is all about!’- Anna Olson

Market Tours

The markets in Mexico City are bustling with life. Food stalls flip blue corn tortillas, loading them with cactus and fresh cheese. Locals hurry down the aisles, stocking up on the week’s groceries. The sights, sounds, and smells are a one-of-a-kind assault on the senses.

Visit to the Pyramids

Known as the City of the Gods, Teotihuacán was the metropolis of a mysterious Mesoamerican civilization that reached its zenith around AD 100. Once the largest city in the region but abandoned centuries before the arrival of the Aztecs, Teotihuacán boasts towering pyramids and stone temples with detailed statues and intricate murals.

Traditional Mexican Cuisine

Authentic Mexican hands-on Cooking Class We will participate in a 4-course cooking class with selected traditional Mexican dishes that would allow us to enjoy and discover Mexico’s gastronomy.

Canals of Xochimilco

We will visit the famous canals of Xochimilco, the last remnants of a vast water transport system built by the Aztecs. Xochimilco’s floating gardens are the last vestige of Mexico’s elaborate chinampas. We will complete this experience with a nice lunch served right on our colorful boat!
